I used to love Roseanne. I watched her show for years and years. I still watch the reruns. But I have a lesser opinion of her now. I know she’s loud and opinionated but that still didn’t prepare me for the…uninstigated attack… she made on her blog about Jon Voight, Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt & their children.

I mean I’m not implying that everyone has to like each other and all.. but this post seemed to be attacking that family for the shear joy of doing so without any provocation or reason behind it other then she disagrees with their parenting choices and political views. And I have a big problem with mean-spited people. Nothing good ever comes from being mean just for the hell of it. She could have simply said she thought their views were wrong, that she disagreed. She could have said adopting so many kids isn’t a choice she’d make. She could have said she thinks their apparent interest in helping humanity was bogus and fake. But instead of stating those things like an intelligent adult… she attacked them with ignorant and vulgar remarks and went after their children. ::: shaking my head ::: So sad.

Roseanne… not everyone has to agree with your views! And what good comes from calling someone else’s children stupid???… simply because you don’t like their parents?? You really need to Grow up!!

Who else here is easily amused? Are any of you split into a good hearty laugh at a lame joke? How about a joke you’ve read at least twice before, does it still make you giggle? Even a little bit? Me? I am super lame-o. I am one of those people who are easily amused… for the most part. And I almost always get a second and something even a third and fourth laugh out of jokes I hear again and again. And I don’t mean like every five minutes. I mean, say you received an email joke and you laughed and thought it was funny… then maybe a couple months or even years later you get it again,.. do you laugh again? Even though you recognize it? Even though it’s a bit familiar? I totally do! Tammy= Dork

What kinds of things make you laugh? For me it’s almost anything from stand-up comedy to slapstick humor. I really enjoy a good laugh too. At least a few times a month I can be caught busting out into a full blown giggle-fest. My eyes tear up, my stomach begins to hurt and I can’t catch my breath for at least a full minute. It could be over nothing really…. maybe something funny or dorky that my kids say. I could be overtired and hit that point where everything is funny. Or I might be watching a real good comedian.

Speaking of comedians…Do you have a favorite? I do. Actually I have many favorites, lol. To name a few…

• Jeff Dunham - OMG this guy is so fricken funny. If you enjoy comedians at all…and haven’t seen his shows… You just have to!!
• Robin Williams - He’s awesome in my book. I love his movies, his humor… and him. Great guy all around….he’s very funny.
• Bill Crosby - Yes.. one of the greats!
• Eddie Murphy - Another of the greats!
• Steve Martin - Another good actor and comedian
• Jim Carrey - Cracks me up everytime.
• George Carlin - Funniest man ever!! He’s the first comedian I ever saw on TV. When he started out cussing left and right I was like…”Oh no he did not just do that on TV… holy crap!” And I was hooked, lol.
• Richard Pryor - I was so sad to see he died… I loved this guy. He was a fantastic actor and comedian. I think he was the funniest man ever born, lol. One of the greats for all time.

OMG!! This is friggin fabulous! I think Zoot and a few others mentioned this video before but I have only now had the pleasure of stumbling on to it. And I have to say this is the best video for showing support to the WGA strike I have seen so far. I support the WGA strike… Do you?!

The female ministers have been eliminated. I can’t say I am happy or sad about that. I really didn’t have much of an opinion about them. But I do want to say…Ronald is treating his daughter Christina like crap. He made references last week to not being a big part of her life for a quite a few years and I have to wonder if that was why… because he treats her badly. I know I wouldn’t tolerate being treated like that. She’s got some patience that’s for sure. Funny…my father was a judgmental ass too and his name was also Ronald. Hmmm. Anyways the Hippies…TK and his woman. Could they have acted more incompetent tonight? I don’t know maybe I am judging them to harshly but I would have been embarrassed to be them tonight.

I am a fickle TV lover. I have about 24 favorite shows. But I am not one to guide my life according to the TV Guide. If I am home, I watch… Maybe… unless something else distracts me from the TV. I record many of the shows I like when I can’t watch them. But even then sometimes they get deleted without being watched. So basically if I watch… Awesome… and if there is something else I want to do… I go do it and that’s awesome too.

My husband on the other hand is a slave to the TV Screen. He literally plans life around his shows, lol It’s sorta funny…sometimes. Other times it’s irritating. Especially when he won’t go out to eat at a certain time because his favorite of all shows is on. But I have to say it doesn’t happen often.

With the writers strike many shows might be going to repeats immediately. Other’s will continue uninterrupted. This link here shows what some networks and shows plan on doing. What do you plan on doing should your favorite show stop running? Me? I plan on reading some more books, playing games with my kids, watching one of the almost 100 movies I’ve been meaning to see for ages, surfing the web, hanging with friends or loving on my hubby. TV doesn’t rule my world. Does it rule yours??

I am so excited that the new season is here. Last season was a bit of a let down. I hope that this season is better. I am watching it right now and hope to comment as the show goes.

Rachel and TK: Dude… Brush your fricken hair!!! And maybe wash it even. My God!!!
Kynt and Vyxsin: Ummm, Ok… to each his own… I suppose, lol. The two of them are really freaky looking!!! But I am reserving judgment thus far.
Jennifer and Nathan: Nothing so far.
Ronald and Christina: Nothing so far.
Shana and Jennifer: I really hope you girls are more then blonde hair and boobs. I am real sick of seeing pairs like these two on TV. So I am really hoping they each sport a brain… and they use it too.
Azaria and Hendekea: Nothing so far.
Lorena and Jason: Nothing so far.
Nicolas and Donald: Nothing so far.
Ari and Staella: Wow… best friends huh? My daughter saw Ari and immediatly goes, “Cool Mom, He’s got to be gay!” Yeah it’s a bit stereotypical. But I think she might be right.
Marianna and Julia: OMG These women are beautiful!!! I love their hair and their skin!
Kate and Pat: ROCK ON!!!! SO far I love these two. Let’s hope they don’t change my mind.

Edited: I guess we know who rules in this challenge…. The DONKEYS!!! LMAO. I am rolling with hysterical laughter over here. Some of these teams were so cocky and the donkeys kicked their butts, lolol Also it seems like Jen and Nathan are whiners, lol

Edited again: I guess we’ll never really know much about Ari and Staelle since they were eliminated tonight. Bummer… I think I would have really like Ari.

I LOVE this show… what a friggin riot!! lol.

ok so Day 1… I couldn’t believe it when they threw out all of that pasta? Wow! I loved the 4 groups that the kids were divided into. I loved the first showdown and that the kids choose NOT to take the TV reward. I love the council…I love the kids personalities. I just love the dynamic that’s going so far. The town meeting was good to. I was surprised to see Sophia win the gold star but I loved the concept.

I can’t wait to see how this whole show plays out.
