A If you were an ANIMAL, what would you be? A Cat, lol

B BOOKS: What’s on your reading list? 7th Heaven by James Patterson is one. I have a long list of what to read next though, lol. Probably 30+ books, lol. I go through phases with reading. There are months where I read 10,20,30 books in a month… and other times I won’t touch a book for 2 to 3 months, lol.

C COMPULSIVE about anything? OMG Yes!! I have actually wondered at times if I didn’t have a touch of OCD, on top of my other issues, lol. For instance, here are 2 examples… 1. Our couch throw pillows…If the kids or Rick puts them on the floor it makes me insane. And when they get picked up you can’t just throw them anywhere they MUST be placed up in the corners of each couch properly and neatly. 2 in each corner…turned on the right angle too. 2. We have 4 handsets for our cordless phone system.. and they’re numbered on the LCD displays. Obviously they are Handset 1,2,3 & 4. Well when we got them… HS1 was placed on the main base in the office…HS2 goes in the living room. HS3 goes in my girls room… and HS4…goes in my room. So now i am SOOOO Compulsive about it. If I see HS3 in the living room instead of my girl’s room… it makes me insane and I have to go and make sure all of the handsets are in their right place on the proper bases. LOL!

D DREAMS - Do you … dream in color? remember your dreams? keep
a dream journal? I do not dream in color…at least I don’t remember if I do. The dreams I remember are pretty vivid and I guess they would be remembered in color… so maybe I do, lol. But I haven’t really thought about it i guess. I have dreams I can remember at least once a week. I don’t have a journal for them.

E EATING - what’s your usual snack? It depends, lol.. Sometimes popcorn, or cheese, or chocolate…or dry cereal… I am not super picky.

F A Few of your FAVORITE Things: Photography, my computers, The Sims2, Graphics, My kids… but don’t tell them, lol, FONTS, Movies, music…

G GIGGLES! What (or who) makes you laugh? Do you have a good sense of humor? Everything! and Yes. I laugh alot. I love to laugh. I love watching comedians, hearing jokes. The truth is…I am easily amused, lol.

H major HOT Button: Shawn Conery, Harrison Ford, Brenden Fraser, Patrick Dempsey, Steven Strait… pick your poision, lol. They all work for me. And yes I know Shawn Conery & Harrison Ford could both be my father/grandfather.. and I don’t care!!

LOL Actually I was named for Debbie Reynolds and Sandra Dee’s roles in the “Tammy” Movies. You know… “Tammy Tell Me True” & “Tammy and the doctor.” Etc.. My father loved those movies and the actresses, lol I think Sandra Dee and Debbie Reynolds were both great actresses in their day …but the movie titles sound more like… bad B-movie Porn…to me, lol…Come on… “Tammy and The Doctor”?? Wink Wink, LMAO!!

O OBSERVANT - What’s around you right now? What do you see? My son, My office and all it’s contents (pcs, chairs, desks, crap..etc.), my coffee, the TV, One of my kitties, I can also see out the window… and I think I might have spied some sunshine too, lol

P Who are the special PEOPLE in your life? My children, My husband, My mother, My Best Friends Dani & Lynn…

Q Any Little QUIRKs About Yourself: LOL! Yeah… MANY!! Some are: 1. I wear my slippers & my socks almost all of the time, including most of the summer too. 2. I hate confetti…or any little pieces of paper, fuzz, lint and whatnots that find their way onto the carpet. I must vacuum the entire room if I see even one or two. 3. Even during the summertime…I can almost always seen with a blanket on my lap. 4. I cannot get into a messy bed and go to sleep. I have to remake it/fix it before I can get in. The sheets have to be nice and neat and tucked in all the right places, lol.

R What do you like to do for RECREATION? Being with my kids goofing off, Going camping, I enjoy going for walks/hiking, Playing my computer, watching TV or movies, Swimming is fun. Horseback riding is good too. Taking pictures of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING, lol.

S Do You SING in the Shower? In the car? For your friends? I used to be in a choir as a kid and yeah I still belt out a tune or two while listening to music or playing with the kids. My voice is bordering scary these days though, lol.

T What’s at the Top of your TO DO list?: Finish putting my bedroom back together. I have had this at the top of my list for weeks, lol.

U Any UNUSUAL Experiences: Yes… My life..lol. The stories are to long and involved to tell right now.. maybe I’ll share another time.

V VEGAS,Vienna,Venice,Vladivostok… How far have you traveled? What’s your favorite City?
I live in Illinois… the farthest I have traveled was to Florida when I was like 7. But I have also visited the following states: Iowa, Indiana, Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin, & Michigan. And next year I hope to go to Kentucky and Tennessee. And my hubby and I are going to Nevada (Vegas to be exact) this year… if all goes as planned.

W WINTER, Spring, Summer, Fall… What’s your favorite season? All of the above. I really do enjoy all 4 and wouldn’t want to live anywhere where I couldn’t have the 4 seasons. I do get sick of Winter though by February and Summer by August, lol.

X EXes - Things You Don’t Do Anymore (but did, once (would you, again?)) I no longer smoke. I quit almost 5 years ago.. and No.. I wouldn’t ever go back.

Y Any secret/deep YEARNINGS? I want to go on vacation with Rick. We never got a honeymoon and we are way over due for a private couples trip.

Z ZERO to ZENITH - Where are you in your life? Still growing?
On an upward (or downward) curve? Just skating along? I am floating along.. enjoying each moment possible and just accepting what comes. Life is what we make it. I choose to make mine lots of fun.

About me..

Ok so I stole another meme. I love these things, lol. And I needed more material. I really want to hit that 100 posts goal, LMAO. Besides we all know I enjoy talking so…. lol. This came from Zoot. Here we go.

I skipped steps 3 and 4 because I happen to agree with most people…errr…bloggers… most bloggers. I don’t like to do the tagging thing. I enjoy being tagged though.

7 Weird Things About Myself

1. I talk to myself… and I answer myself. Seriously. I have been known… when I had no else to help me sort though something…to have an entire discussion… out loud… to myself. LMAO! hey it helps me ok…lol.

2. Like many other bloggers have also stated… I too talk to my animals and I also give them voice. For example… when my husband is playing with the kitten, Cesar. I often join in the fun by speaking for him. As Cesar crouches down to pounce I might say, ” You can’t see me but I am gonna get you!” and as he pounces and then starts to run away, ” Aha.. I have surprised you!! AHHH You see me. RETREAT!!!!!” It’s a riot and amuses me greatly, lol. It also makes my husband laugh. lol. The other day one of the kids said or did something to the cat.. and then said to him, “What are you looking at?!” and I looked at Cesar and then at them and said, ” He telling you to take a hike… screw you and kiss my butt is what he says.” LOL. And right on cue he stood up, whirled around showing them his butt… and then he sauntered off, lol.

3. I wear socks with my slippers. My feet get cold easily but I also can’t stand sweaty feet so I have to have socks on in my shoes or slippers.

4. I hate “tags” Like you see on flickr photos and people’s blogs. Vox uses them a lot. I hate them with a passion. It makes no sense to me to list 2,5, or in same cases I have seen some people use over 10 “keywords” to reference a post or picture. Especially if you are using categories as well. They just seem pointless.

5. I hate clutter. It makes my skin crawl. But I am not against having junk drawers or even whole junk closets, lol Because I don’t have to look at them. They’re hidden from my view, lol.

6. I love gadgets… but I think they’re ALL over priced. Not quite 3 years ago my hubby got me an iPod Video…he paid roughly $300 bucks for it. I love it. I use it daily but I still think it was over priced. This year he bought me a laptop… I adore it, want it, love it and use it daily. I wouldn’t give it up or trade it for anything. But I still think it was over priced, lol. It takes me lots of thought to be able to buy gadgets because of their cost… but I love them!

7. I am rather easily amused, lol. Don’t let that imply I am not complicated…because I am.. but at least I am someone who can laugh often.

Stealing a posting idea from Zoot.

1. I forgive myself for yelling at my kids. Which I try not to do but usually do at least once every other day.
2. I forgive myself for thinking horrible thoughts about my daughter, Nikki. Recently(the last 6 months or so) her and I are having a rough time. I have thought some real doozies when she’s acted out. I have felt some huge guilt because of it too. So I am now forgiving myself for being a mom who cares and also for being human and getting angry.
3. I forgive myself for wanting to run away and cry when parenting and life gets hard.
4. I forgive myself for being tired all of the time and not having any energy.
5. I forgive myself for not being a better cook.
6. I forgive myself for not wanting to be a better cook.
7. I forgive myself for being lazy on my days off.
8. I forgive myself for leaving all my clean laundry in a basket on my night stand and not putting it away.
9. I forgive myself for not taking a shower yet today…i really need one. (been up since 9am, lol)
10. I forgive myself for not being more artistic.. and therefore not being able to sew anything. I can’t even sew on a button correctly.

Valentines Day. A day of love. A day for men to worship their women in the form of sweet cards, chocolate and stuff animals (Yuk, they just collect dust and get in the way of everything, lol ) A day for women to giggle and be giddy about the goodies they recieved. A day to feel loved!

Yeah…that day just sorta snuck by without a sound in this house, lol Not a single peep was made by it. I guess Rick and I missed the boat on that one, lol. I did make a jokingly crack about how he could have at least given me a big kiss and wished me a good Valentines day…lol

So in memory of my lost Valentines I decided to make a list of some of the things I love (in no particular order)… (ok humor me, lol… I’m attempting cute comedy here, lol)

• Playing games!!! Video games are cool… but party games and board games are AWESOME!!! Anyone up for a game?? Sorry? Monopoly?? Life?? Scattegories?? Come on… just one game?
• Going for walks.
• Hiking through any wooded area…exploring, heheh
• I also love to read popular fiction… James Patterson, Dean Knootz, Melanie Hauser, just to name a few.
• I really like Magazines. Even those cheezy ones that claim aliens have landed. I should buy them more often, lol
• Music…and jaming out to it too, lol But we have neighbors above us… so… I can’t do that without headphones usually.

1. The birth of a child. I’m talking about the acutal emerging from the uterus throught the vagina into the world. I find the miracle of child birth a wonderful thing. I’ve done it three times myself. But I find nothing beautiful about seeing it, live and in color, on TV. Maybe some think i’m just too much of a prude, which I am not. I just don’t find beauty in watching a woman push, grunt, bleed, pee and crap all over herself while working so hard to bring that baby out into the world. I think that’s too much of an evasion into any woman’s privacy and to be honest I think it borders on being degrating. We all know what’s happening.. so I think it’s better left to the imagination instead of video taping it and showing it on TV. But that’s just my two-cents.

2. A person’s bathroom activities. I’d rather not know what they’re doing in there, lol. (Of course my kids still invade me in the bathroom, lol. That doesn’t really bother me most of the time. But sometimes I’m like… HEY can you give me some privacy!…Geeze. <>> snicker < <>

3. For a woman, a pap test.

4. For a man, a prostate exam.

5. Plastic Surgery… I mean the actual surgery. My hubby loves to watch this discovery health channel and sometimes they have some really cool shows on there and other times I’ll look up at the TV and be staring inside someone’s fatty tissue all bloody and icky looking… Bleh! That’s a bit gross for me… thanks.

6. Romantic Sexual Interludes. I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I think showing everything takes away from the experiance. Leave something for the imagination to run with…it makes it more intriging!

7. Stool… If you’ve ever owned and animal or had a child then you probably have been asked by a doctor or a vet to bring some of your child’s or animal’s “stool” in for some test… at some point. That’s a visual I could have lived without.

8. Snot… Again if you have children… then I don’t need to say anything further.

9. The guts of a worm..eeewwe! Thanks Drew… but I was going along just fine in life without knowing that truth.

10. How Hotdogs, Bologna and Oreos are made and what’s really in them. Trust me.. You don’t want to know!

Miss Zoot wanted to know a few things about her groupies…err…umm…readers. I think it was an excellent idea! Anyhow I started answering her in a comment and then decided it would make a great entry on my own blog… so here you go:

(1) Your house is burning and all living things are safe. What do you grab if you can save one thing? (You knew I’d ask that one, right?)

Three boxes (they’re not too big) of pictures and memory stuff from my kids. If i lost that I’d be so upset and sad. Those things can never be duplicated. Everything else can be replaced.

(2) Who was the first celebrity you ever crushed on? Who is your most recent crush?

I’m embarrassed to admit this but… ONE.. of my crushes as a teen was Tom Cruise. But don’t let that fool ya.. I was a crush hussy… I had no less then 25+ crushes at one time. LOL. What can I say?? I like TV and Movie stars, lol. As an adult… I’m still a crush hussy! (50+ crush now…I’m moving up!) But if I have to pick one… ummm… Shawn Connery.. He may be old but damn he’s hot! (You, hush up Rick..LOL)

(3) What was your biggest fashion mistake ever?

Umm, I was born in 1973… grew up in the 80’s and 90’s… and have very little natural fashion sense…I’m pretty sure my whole childhood was a fashion mistake, lol.

(4) If you could only read one author the rest of your life - who would it be? What if you could only listen to one band/musician?

I’d Die! That’s just not possible for me to pick only one of either. I have such wide variety of what I listen to and read..I just can’t pick one.

(5) Every millionaire has a home where something goes to waste. The gym, the pool, the walk-in closet, the tennis courts etc. What would be the one luxury in your million-dollar home that would be wasted on you? What would be the one luxury thing that would get used the most in that same million-dollar home?

Well a formal dining room would be totally wasted on me, lol. We tend to be the kind of family that eats close to the TV, lol. I know it’s bad, lol. Sometimes we do eat all together around the kitchen table. But not enough to validate the dining room. LOL!… Ohhh and I was just reminded… a garden and fancy lanscaping… that’d be wasted since i tend to kill flowers, lol.

But… A state of the art TV/Movie/Computer/Technology room… Now that would be used a lot in my house. We’d just live in there, lol. (I want a library too!… I’d use that a lot too)
