Cesar is here at home…safe and sound. I have no idea where he was hiding but it seems that he was indeed hiding. He just came strolling into the kitchen… looking at us like we’re all insane…. wondering what all the fuss was about.
I think I am going to have to put my cat down. I am so upset with this revelation. She’s our baby…we’ve had her forever. She’s 15 going on 16 and not doing so well. She’s lost half her hair and she’s under weight. She’s always been a pukey sort of cat…she has a sensitive tummy. But lately she can’t hold anything down for very long. She vomits often through-out the day and she’s starting to have accidents through-out the house on the furniture. I have been stalling because she doesn’t appear to be in any pain. She’s still happy to curl up in your lap and purr at receiving attention. But I am starting to fear that my lack of action will get something destroyed, or worse, could get all of us killed.
Moments ago she vomited on the cables under Rick’s desk and almost caused a fire. The power strip and plugs is what she threw up on and if I wasn’t here I wouldn’t have heard the sizzling and popping of the cords. Nor would I have smelled the burning. I wouldn’t have been able to unplug them and deal with the mess. This isn’t the first time she’s done this. If only I could stop her from vomiting or peeing on the furniture and electronics. But she tends to hide during the majority of the day… always under the desks, behind the TVs…or other such places where there are electrical cords. (Why can’t she be partial to sleeping under the beds???) And at night she seems to have a fascination with climbing on the counters or the computer desks to vomit on the stove, the coffee pot or the computers, our laptops… my Ipod was almost puked on 2 nights ago…things that I don’t want to get ruined obviously. And yet I still don’t know what to do…I’ll have to talk to Rick today when he comes home and I am sure he won’t know either.
Why must our furry friends grow old?
I’m Under Attack!
November 9th, 2007 Filed under: NaBloPoMo '07, Flickr-liclious, Fuzzy Family Friends, Just Me by TammyMy loverly kitten, Cesar is on the pounce! He;s attacking my typing fingers from behind my computer, lolol it’s so funny I had to share. He thinks he’s being sneaking and fooling me.
Come see here…

My cat…err…kitten, Cesar, is very very odd. When we first got him, for about the first month he was with us, Each time he went to the bathroom he’d cry. Meeeeoooow Meeew meeeeew meeeeeoooooow! And then it turned to only when he was pooping. And finally it stopped very suddenly. And now he potties like a big kitty…without all the drama and theatrics.
But another odd thing…He loves Eggs, Chicken and Coffee. My other cat, Speedy, doesn’t eat anything but cat food and occasionally a small taste of Tuna. She won’t even eat kitty treats. And he loves to be wrapped up in warm tight little balls, lol. He’ll fall asleep in 10 seconds or less.
I have a very strange kitten, lol. Need Proof?

It’s Been Decided…
August 26th, 2007 Filed under: Fuzzy Family Friends by TammyAll of us tossed out lots of names and many were good, but we finally settled on Cesar. We all like it. So There you have it.
Having a baby kitty in the house has been fun. I forgot how funny and playful a kitten was…And what a spaz!! It’s just too funny and entertaining watching Cesar attack and beat up the invisible evil forces of our house. And WOW!!!..this little sucker is fast too, lol.
