Ok so nothing else ever really works long term with my kids.. But I am going to try a 2-combo thing… You get what you earn and being a bitch. Grounding them is a waste of my time. It does nothing except keep them close enough to me so that can make me insane. So telling them they’re grounded for a week is pointless. Instead I am taking things on a day by day basis. If they dont do what I tell them on Monday… besides being sent to bed that day…they also will go nowhere on Tuesday. If they screw up on Tuesday…they go no where on Wednesday. This of course includes computer time, tv time, phone time.. and music player time.
Let’s see if a few weeks of me cracking on them hard will finally break through their granite skulls and get me…and them…somewhere positive. Because I honestly don’t know what else to do but beat them….sell them for cheap labor…or lock them in the garage.
