In Normal, Illinois…
It is against the law to make faces at dogs.
In Zion, Illinois…
It is illegal for anyone to give lighted cigars to dogs, cats, or any other domesticated animals.
In Kirkland, Illinois…
Bees are not allowed to fly over the village or through any of Krikland’s streets.
In Joliet, Illinois… (My kid is guilty of this one… and so is my MIL. I am constantly correcting them… it makes me crazy too, lol)
Town fathers, reflecting the pet peeve of hearing their town’s name mispronounced ‘Jolly-ETTE’ when all local folk know it’s pronounced ‘Joe-lee-ETTE’, made pronouncing it Jolly-ette a misdemeanor, punishable by a $5 fine. (See Ashley I told you… It’s Joe-lee-ette! ::: snicker :::)
In Chicago, Illinois…
Law forbids eating in a place that is on fire.
In Champaign, Illinois…
One may not pee in his neighbor’s mouth. (This is just so disgusting. Why in the world would this law be necessary.)
In Evanston, Illinois…
Bowling is forbidden.
AND
It is unlawful to change clothes in an automobile with the curtains drawn, except in case of fire.
